Description

While fashion design major Caroline Hunter may have been born economically unlucky, in college, she’s been lucky in love. Until her senior year at Southern University. She’s gone from a serious long term boyfriend to a string of crappy dates.

Then she meets mathematics grad student Reed Pendergraft.

Reed is everything she’s not looking for. Serious. Headed for a low paying university job. Boring. Caroline spent the first eighteen years of her life wondering where her next meal was coming from. She sure wasn’t getting trapped in that life again with a man living on a professor’s salary.

An encounter with Reed in a club proves she might have pegged him wrong. He brings out a lusty side she never knew she had. But just when she’s about to give in to her hormones, Reed makes a fool out of her.

When she shows up for the first committee meeting for Southern University’s Fall fashion show, a fundraiser for underprivileged kids, Caroline’s horrified to discover the insufferable Reed is the committee chairman. While she refuses to tolerate his totalitarian rule of the committee, she’s not sure she’ll survive the month with her heart—and her pride—intact. Just when she thinks she has everything figured out, she finds that her entire life has been redesigned, thanks to Reed Pendergraft.

After reading the first book in the series, it was good enough for me to want to continue. The same issues from the first book creeped into this book. The overuse of names in dialogue was my biggest complaint. I will say that I was taken by surprise with this book and Reed's background. I'll be reading the third book.

WOW!!! Once again, another Denise Grover Swank book had me zipping through it in no time. (even when I don't technically have time to read - ha!). The story of Reed and Claire was no different. After the first Off the Subject book, I didn't think I could enjoy a couple as much as I did Tucker and Scarlett, but I was obviously wrong! The heat and fiery chemistry that Reed and Claire share is fantastic. They don't know whether to scratch one another's eyes out or fall into passionate embraces leading to some hot lovin'! Claire and Reed both have their own pasts and secrets that threaten to keep them a part. Each one must Redesign their hearts in order to make room for love they never expected! I can't wait to finish up with the third book in the Off the Subject series. Thanks to Denise for writing such amazing stories that make you want to turn pages until you you've reached the end and beg for more!

This is the best book I have read in a long time. It made me laugh and cry and smile and worry if it would all work out. I am looking forward to read all the books from this great writer.

Redesigned is well written. You will fall in love with Caroline and Reed. As the story progress you find out what makes Caroline tick. Reed is a mystery but she falls for him. It is nice to read a book with a story that has an end. I loved it, you will also like After Math as well.

Read this right after I finished After Math, which I found very sweet. Redesigned is also a sweet story--but much hotter (yea!) Loved this one even more. I liked that even though Caroline was justifiably concerned about money, she still recognizes true love with Reed, thinking he's poor. Looking forward to the third book in the series.
  • Really enjoyed it!
